Is this a preview update issue?

It seems like after long extended use or after using a few apps, games, etc that my inter face will lock or freezeup for a few seconds until it catches up. It seems to have started after the last two preview updates came out. I'm thinking about opting
out of the program now as it seems like they push something new every week almost and sometimes the patch is really buggy. I just really hope this isan August preview patch issue only and not an overload with constant updates in the first year starting to
slow down this once lightning fast machine. I remember day one this thing was blazing quick with a startup time around 40 seconds and the even the day one patch took less than 5-7 minutes.

I always quit every open app after I'm done with them and lately I've turned it back to Power Saving mode so that it will get a restart each I power it on again. Is anyone else noticing this thing slowing down some on the screens? I wonder if all the
xbox live issues lately could be related maybe.

i agree people shouldn't have to, but remember this is the preview update, not a live update to the public. One of the risks is having update issues like this. people should know the risk before they voluntary agree to enter the preview program. If this
was a live update that would be different, you cna just opt out of the preview program if you don't want these type of issues.

 

Quitting the game problem

Is anyome having this issue and is not on the preview update ? I'm wondering if its a game issue or a preview update bug ?

 

If you want you lighting fast system back the best thing to do is opt out of the Update Preview Program. The main reason the Program Exists is to report bugs and weed them out so the rest of Xbox Community gets a clean update.

Granted some users experience little to no bugs during some update previews. But 7 out of 10 are going to have some kind of bugs which will slow down the OS. I know I have experienced both clean previews and horrendous ones. 1406 devastated my Xbox One

 

Same here, it's sometimes a crap shoot. So have opted out now? Is it running better at all times now?

 

If you have opted out Dwoop33 you will finish the current preview and then you should have clean running system after than and be good to go.
