Hello dear Gamer, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.
    My name is Vinicius.

Hey , how are you today? Hope you're well.

First of all, congratulations on your purchase, Series X is an awesome console. :)

I did hear it. And yes, I believe it's normal, and it's the disk reader, actually. If it were the fans, you would also hear them spinning. And I do have a Series X too, and mine does the exact same thing. So, rest assure, it's normal. :)
That's a bit reassuring, as some people tell me to return it.

It's very confusing getting these mixed signals.

Is this sound on start up normal?

Not at all, it works perfect. Just does that "thump" sound.

Some people seem to freak out about it, and so did I because of it.

But I see alot of people saying they have it, including you.

Did it happen from purchase with you?
