    This is an email i just received from an Xbox sales rep. Today is ironically friday the 13th.

    I understand you're requesting a refund. Here's what I found out after looking into your request:

    We can’t provide a refund to this request.
It’s been longer than our refund policy allows for digital game products. Thanks for understanding.

    8 days, I SPEND 8 DAYS calling customer support to no avail, i spend 4 of those days waiting for my account page to
    update and reflect the purchase.

    All of this due to technical issues, of which i was very mellow about.

    i was told "you cant request a refund online multiple times"
    by every sales rep i spoke on the phone

    Then they dropped calls by accident, or when transferring me through to their Xbox colleagues i would get dropped or a on hold music and then dropped.

    "ps the on hold music sucked"

    only to have a sales rep through the website send me a link to A BETA WEBSITE.. where i was finally able to claim a refund. he sorted that in 5 mins , ive been trying to get this refunded since the 3d of march.

    And then i got that denied mail. what the actual [mod removed]

    And now they have the audacity to tell me to my face I TOOK TOO LONG... [mod removed] really?

    Also an FYI you can state all you want in your EULA, if it's in breach of both EU and Belgian consumer law, you need
    to zip it, and refund me my purchase.

    If the support staff put in half as much effort as the mod deleting a F word, i would have had my refund 8 days ago.

    I've been saying exactly this since before Kinect released. Who wants to point their finger at a screen & pretend to pull a trigger? Who'd want to pretend to hold a steering wheel to drive a car, or swing a sword or any of a number of things? At least the
    Wii controller is an actual device that can be converted into guns, steering wheels, swords, baseball bats, golf clubs, etc, etc. Controllerless control for most applications is just stupid. If I wanted to run around my living room pretending to play something
    like basketball... I'd go outside and play basketball.

    It is lame, there's no way you'll see me jumping across the living room like that. But what would be the point of Kinect if you hold a firearm.

    XBOX could at least provide some sort of firearm for the Kinect games. Using your hands and fingers.... ????

    It did look pretty lame, IMO.
