Sorry for the issue with your membership. If you used a credit/debit card they can pull it up that way if it is still on the account. Otherwise they will need to look up by email or gamer tag, then will need to verify the account. You can request a call
from support try and verify. If successful they can then give you information on the account and cancel the membership. It never hurts to try especially since you are not sure of the email or phone on the account.

When you go to Contact Us to get it to request a chat follow these steps:

• Step 1 ----select Xbox One
  
• Step 2 ----select see other options then subscription changes
  
• Step 3-----select show contact options
  
  Step 4 ----select request call from support
  

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

In order to prevent hijacking another person's account, there are several security checks you need to pass to get access to an account you claim to have "forgotten".

Here in this forum no one knows if you actually forgot how to access your account, or if you are trying to access someone else's account, claiming you forgot the sign in credentials.

You can try to
recover your own Microsoft account by following the steps outlined here.

After you have regained access to your account, you can sign in on
https://account.microsoft.com and go to the services and subscriptions menu.

There you can then manage and cancel your memberships.

Because you have forgotten your details I don't believe there is any way. even if you contact xbox support through the support website or by phone they would still need to know certain things before they can cancel anything to do with the account.

There's no way to request a gamertag. The only way to get it (without getting a suffix added) would be for the original owner to change the tag to something else, or if they do not sign into their Xbox account for 5 years, it will be freed up by the system. If they don't sign into their Microsoft account within 2 years, that will close the account and should also free up the tag. There's no way to know for sure how inactive an account is.
