Is there somthing wrong with my Xbox or my Wi-Fi?

Hello i have an old xbox like the very 1st one that came out in 2016? Anyway im trying to talk to people in parties and freinds but it wont work. I look at my network settings and everything says its normal or ok could someone please help me fix this issue?

i was playing mw3 and the picture was changing colors so i turned it off and back on and there was just a black screen. i used another xbox on the tv and it worked fine and i used the same cords on the other xbox

Have you tried performing a Power Cycleon the console? Simply hold down the power button on the console until it shuts off. Once it is no longer
powered on, simply unplug the power cable for 10 seconds.
