Everyday I can't wait to get off work to play ghosts but when I actually play it it gets boring quick.

I've played way too many shooters. One weekend I said screw it and played through Tomb Raider. I had a feeling of completion I have not felt for awhile. Actually finish a game with a good story. I felt refreshed. Right now my rut is my meds need adjusted.
Too depressed anymore but on the bright side they finally found a painkiller that works good on me. Sorry for rambling....

For me it's the other way around. I used to hate FPS when I was younger than I started playing them and enjoying them. It is true that a lot of FPS are much of the same and I will agree that I am somewhat tired of some of the FPS and how similar they are.
But I still get fun out of some.

 

Try different weapons, different tactics, different game modes.

Especially try things you dont think you'll like. You might find its more fun than you expected.

 

As atog mentioned, just mix it up and keep it fresh.

 

Go for specific challenges while using entirely new classes. Right now I game once a week and going for camo and challenges keep me motivated. Acquiring time for the DLC means less now more later. DBL XP weekend ya know

 

Play something else occasionally....

 

CoD is great fun, but yes, its grown old for alot of people whom have been playing it alot for the past 10 years straight.

 

No, it's not just you. I had the same thought and took a look online at metacritic.com. WOW, the critics gave the game a passing score but the users rated it lowest of any XBox360 game currently out. Browsing the comments the number 1 reason is poor multiplayer
gameplay.

COD Ghosts multiplayer gets boring a lot quicker than previous titles. For me it's the bad spawns (typical COD problem but why in the world on these big maps would there be spawn problems??) plus the fact that this COD is much more sniper friendly. I see
fewer enemies and it's common to never see the one that got me. I've also had a large number of matches, even on small maps reach the time limit before the score limit (HC TDM) which makes for boring gameplay.

I find I'm playing BO2 as much as Ghosts.

 

Spawns are not bad, per say. Spawns are such due to so many variables, i.e. Players moving quickly with unlimited sprint, i.e.d placement, sentry gun placement, et al. Spawn logic calculates all these variables and places you as best as possible without
spawning directly on top, beside, and near all these things happening simultaneously.

I believe the logic works as best as possible under these circumstances, and under this engine.

Hopefully future/next Gen COD will have answers to counter all these variables. Because currently the only other alternative is simply make the maps twice as big. But then it's no longer COD, it's Battlefield.

 

Play cranked, blitz or kill confirmed. I even go back to squads on occasion because I get bored and frustrated with humans. At least bot teammates won't go 2-26.

 

I just stopped playing this game for a while. Not that I hate or anything, but I rather play some decent games like BioShock Infinite, which is superamazingomgthisgameisover9000. My thoughts exactly. The MP gets pretty boring to me fast now. Probably cause
I played the crap out of Blops 2, but still. Everyone knows what to expect from CoD now. The same old rehashed game every year. I have like 1.5 days on this game. It'll definitely be my least played CoD. I'll come back to it when the maps come out. Dat Extinction
looks pretty dang diddly good.

 

There are spawn problems in every multiplayer. I got spawned killed twice in the only game I played on battlefield yesterday. BATTLEFIELD....the maps are the size of Asia. I never get spawn killed in ghosts.



It is cool to hate on COD. It's the worst game out, yet there are 215,632 people playing it on the xbox 360 at this moment....That's not including playstation 3, playstation 4, xbox one or PC. Seriously people, stop hating...You just make yourself look
silly at this point.

We are going to get a whole new cod experience in 2 years when Treyarch unveils what I predict to be the biggest engine change since COD 4. Next year we have, what I consider a new dev team....so you don't know what to expect.

Yes I am a little bored with cod at the moment, but it's because I have logged nearly 6 days played in the first month and a half. We are also at that weird stage when the release hype ended, the christmas noob hype ended and we are just waiting for our first
DLC pack.

 

I'm going to have to disagree on the spawns. These maps are big enough so that we shouldn't spawn in the middle of the action with an enemy... but we do. It's fairly common. BO2 size maps.... sure have to cut them slack about the limited choices. But these
maps are big enough that we shouldn't ever spawn in the open beside an enemy in a 6v6 match. It's not the worst aspect of this game but with large maps there is no reason for it. I've had it happen on Stonehaven!

 

i played it for the first time since release and i only lasted literally 5 mins on it, its just so so boring and id say the worst cod ever and with mw3 thats saying something.
