Is there some sort of compensation for the system being down?

Recovering my account...

The other day I was console banned. I got on my brother's Xbox and recovered my account so I could play some LIVE. Now I want to recover my account back onto my banned Xbox so I can use it for single player games, but I can't because I can't connect
to Xbox LIVE. Is there any way I can recover the account back onto my banned Xbox?

Not to mention because my account classes as suspended from a payment being due. however I can't change my payment method because of the fact there is a payment due but the card it wants to use (my old one) no longer exists.

And because there is balance due on a suspended account I can't add xbox subscription time and to top it off I still have to use parental *** because I can't change my account to adult until my Xbox Live subscription is fixed.

*** microsoft a massive *** I will most certainly not be purchasing anymore xbox or other microsoft consoles.

 

The least they should do is credit a day to our accounts for the day we can't use

 

Connection seems to be up and running for now, but where is our acknowledgement? Are you guys going to keep avoiding the issue? We all want compensation for ALL of the issues we've had, and apparently will have again soon. We don't want to just be ignored.

 

Thanks for no response Microsoft. I guess I will just have to send massive amounts of emails and start calling constantly until someone responds with real words. Time Warner is easier to work with than you.

When you signed up for Xbox Live, you agreed to the Terms of Use, which includes this section:

"YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT computer and telecommunications systems are not fault-free and occasional periods of downtime occur. We do not guarantee the services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free or that CONTENT loss won't occur."

So, it's really up to Microsoft whether or not to provide compensation for the downtime, and they are not obligated in any way to do so.
