Is there only one model of Xbox 360 available?

Ok so I'm very low in funds so I am planning on buying a used Xbox 360 for a very cheap price but first I want to know if I'll be buying some old generation one that won't be able to play today's games such as Watch Dogs, GTA IV, GTA V and others because
its price appears to be very cheap even as a used console.

So my question is, am I looking at the one and only Xbox 360 that will be able to play the games that I mentioned above or am I looking at some older generation one? Also here is a picture of the console:

Which model of 360 do you have?

The original model of 360 will need the xbox 360 wireless adapterv found here:

www.amazon.co.uk/.../ref=sr_1_1

This is the more expensive model, there is a similar item that is white, has one antenna and is slightly cheaper

Whereas the latest model (360 S) has a built in wireless adapter.

You should only purchase hardware that is Xbox 360 branded as they are the official Microsoft products

myservice.xbox.com/.../Welcome.aspx All xbox power supplies are compatible with another, except for different models. For instance all old xbox 360 model power supplies are only
compatible with the old models, and all xbox 360 S power supplies are compatible with all xbox 360 S models.

 

That is the old (original) FAT console. If you insist on buying used I would recommend having the owner hook it up and connect it to the net to ensure that it is working and not banned from the Live service.

I would also recommend purchasing a new console as opposed to used to prevent issues in the future.

There are currently three types of 360 consoles on the market: FAT (old), 360S and 360E. The E is the newest version.

Unfortunately I cannot afford a brand new Xbox 360 console so in that case I will have to be careful about which one I choose and ask the seller for the accurate model, specs and so on before buying. Also I never knew a console could be banned. So I cannot
create a new account on the console and carry on as clean?

 

Once a console is banned, it can never connect to Live again. Doesn't matter what accounts are used. Also be careful because something could have been done with the console that is against the TOS but hasn't been suspended yet. Down the line you may end
up with the console banned for something that had happened before you even owned it. Buyer beware!

 

You could create a new gamertag on a banned console but it could never connect to Live.
