Is there anything I need to do to restore games saves to new console? its not working...

I restored my Xbox as I was having start-up problems and when I restored the system I downloaded all my Minecraft save games. Now Minecraft says all the saved games are corrupted and are unplayable.

I’ve tried restarting the system, reinstalling Minecraft, downloading the saved games again - nothing has worked.

I started a new game and then I thought maybe I should do another restore, thinking maybe there was a problem with the restore. Well now it turns out that the new save game is also corrupted after the restore - this tells me the cloud save capability for
Minecraft is a pile of garbage.

Is there a way of fixing these games or downloading them from the cloud so they can be fixed elsewhere?

You may need to restore your system to factory defaults and start fresh on your system, you wont be losing anything its just timely to download and install your apps and games. and all saves will be synced back to the HDD

Yes, it is possible to restore a cloud save for a game that was accidentally overwritten. To do this, you will need to follow these steps:



1. Open the game on your Xbox console.

2. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

3. Select "My games & apps" and then select "See all" to view all your games.

4. Find the game that you want to restore the cloud save for and press the menu button on your controller.

5. Select "Manage game & add-ons" and then select "Saved data".

6. Select "Cloud saves" and then select the saved data that you want to restore.

7. Select "Download to console" to restore the cloud save to your Xbox console.



Please note that this will overwrite any local save data that you currently have on your console, so make sure to back up any local saves before restoring the cloud save.

I'd be inclined to do as XBF Brad A suggests and get the console replaced, but you could try
Restore your console to factory defaults

If resetting your console does not correct your startup error, you can use the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter to completely restore your console to its factory settings.

Warning Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. You should only use this option as a last resort.

Already power cycled doesnt do anything. every time i try to make my account my home xbox it tells me its unable to save any changes at this time though its been 2 weeks

Have you tried deleting and restoring your profile to your console?
