Is there any way without being on an insider build to get controller firmware "5.9.2709.0"...

Is there any way to rollback the firmware on the actual controller without a console? I believe the actual firmware on the controller is corrupted, as I tried everything I could in terms of software. The Xbox Accessories app only has an option to update, which there is no update available. Can't get it repaired because even though the controller is pretty new, the warranty expired.

Controller: 5.9.2709.0

Headset: 0.0.9.22

No updates available for both. Hope you find something 😎

I moved homes recently and lord knows where my win10 disk is. Theres no real way to get away from these preview insider builds without it is there?

Thanks Gerry, seems it is likely the Windows Insider build. I dropped back as far as possibly from dev builds without having to reinstall andstill issues. Seems it's any insider build

as I see from your other thread, you are part of the Xbox Insider preview. Support can not help with Xbox Insider Preview builds, the only place to get proper support is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxinsiders
that way the Development team and other Insiders can interact with you. This is unfortunately what being in the Insider Preview is all about, we get the development software and test it out for bugs. If you can't handle this then it maybe a good idea to remove
yourself from the Insider Preview builds and return to a public build.
