    Is there any way to RECANT a report to an Xbox live account?


    I reported one of my friends as a joke and his account got banned from communicating, I was wondering if there was anything I could do to recant my report so he can communicate again.

    Saved games are not able to be transferred from profile to profile. This also goes for Subscriptions, microsoft points, GS/Achievements, and any purchased content.

    No. There is no way to recant a report. Also, just reporting someone would not get them banned. He would have been banned because he did something to violate the code of conduct.

    You shouldnt joke around with the "Reporting" option only do it if you have seen or heard him doing something against the rules then "Report" Is there any way to RECANT a report to an Xbox live account? :)

    My first question would be, did you file a complaint on him, or a review? If it was just a review, his rep likely fell to a level where his communications abilities are limited. In this case, he just needs to raise his rep by playing fair and keeping things
    clean, or by getting positive reviews. If you filed a complaint on him, and he did receive a comm ban, he will have to wait until the ban is lifted. The thing in this case is, if you filed an untrue complaint, it was not you that caused the ban. All complaints
    are investigated, and if the complaint is found to be false, no action would have been taken.

    Fales reporting will banned you from doing real reporting. So do not do it again. Unless they really braken the rules of XBL.

    If you report that gamer using the in-console reporting system chances are high that their account (and possibly console) will be permanently suspended from Xbox LIVE. Microsoft does have a way to investigate these matters when obvious log-in details are
    transmitted over Xbox LIVE.
