Is there any way to manage my digital library of xbox games?

I've had a 360 for several years now and have acquired a fairly large library of games over that time. I hate having to deal with game discs so almost all my purchases have been of the digital variety from live/arcade. My problem is my 250gb 360 is full
to the brim and I have no way of properly managing such a large number of games... Using the "download history" on the 360 is a complete joke, everything from apps to old demos is in there, it takes about 5 min to just scroll to the bottom! There is no easy
way to tell if a game is installed or not, no sorting of any kind possible. Can anyone enlighten me on a way to manage a 170+ xbox 360 game library? I'm having a hard time buying anymore games as I'm afraid to delete anything as it will get lost in that
mess and I'll never remember I own it!

Mabye I'm just spoiled by steam but for a system that "was" heading in a all digital direction the current state of library management is horribly inadequate!

There is probably something wrong with your disc. I suggest you try installing it to your hdd. Then you will see if there are any read errors as well. Good luck.

Movie purchased on Xbox 360 does not appear in Xbox Video app on W8

I recently purchased a movie through Xbox Video on the Xbox 360 but the movie does not appear in my library in the Xbox Video app for Windows 8.

Is there any way to make the movie appear in my library?

 

Well of course right after I post I find that you can also view your purchase history from your account on live.com. It even lets you sort by type and add games to your download queue. Only problem is there is still no way to tell if a game is currently
installed.

Much better than the 360 but still not proper library management... is this something possible in a future update?

 

It`s a library, it`s all in alphabetical order, the easiest form of management there is. It`s always going to take a little time to sort through no matter what type of management system you have.

Delete all your old vids and demos, surprising how much storage space you get back. Got about 18 MB when I cleared mine out.

And get an old fashioned pen and paper and write down a list of what is on your HDD. Yes, it takes time, but it makes it so easy for future reference.

18 GB is still not that much.......

Maybe, beer and forums are a bad idea for all......... Seems the OP figured out how history is availible anyway.
