    I cannot make it past the security info update screen whenever I press remind later or looks good I am redirected back to the login screen thus not allowing me to log into my account or even out it back on my Xbox I am experiencing this on a different account than this one

    Welcome to Microsoft Xbox Community Forum. I understand that you're having trouble logging into your account and updating your security information. I'll do my best to assist you with this issue.



    To start with, can you please confirm if you're trying to update your security information on your Xbox console or on a web browser? Also, have you tried logging in to your account on a different device or web browser to see if the issue persists?



    If you're trying to update your security information on your Xbox console, please try the following steps:

    1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    2. Select System > Settings > Account > Sign-in, security & passkey.

    3. Select Security & passkey > Update my security info.

    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to update your security information.



    If still the issue persists, try these below:

    - First, make sure your Xbox is connected to the internet and has the latest system update. You can check this by going to Settings > System > Updates & downloads.

    - Second, try clearing the cache on your Xbox. This will delete any temporary files that might interfere with the login process. To do this, press and hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. Then unplug the power cord and wait for another 10 seconds. Plug the cord back in and turn on your Xbox.

    - Third, try removing and re-adding your account on your Xbox. This will refresh your security information and sync your account with the server. To do this, go to Settings > Account > Remove accounts and select the account you want to remove. Then go to Settings > Account > Add new and sign in with your email and password.

    - Fourth, if none of the above steps work, you may need to reset your console to factory defaults. This will erase all your data and settings, so make sure you back up anything important before proceeding. To do this, go to Settings > System > Console info > Reset console and choose Reset and keep my games & apps. This will reset your console but keep your installed games and apps.

    If you're still unable to update your security information, please try signing into your account on a different device or web browser. If the issue persists, it's possible that there may be an issue with your account. In this case, I would recommend contacting our Xbox live support directly for further assistance. You can reach them through these steps:

    1. Go to: Contact us | Xbox Support
    2. See the bottom left part of the page and make sure that the page has the correct region that you are in (ex: United States - English for USA)
    3. If not, click on it then select the correct region that you are in.
    4. Check and confirm that you are within the available time of support under Contact times.
    5. Click Contact us
    6. Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.
    7. On the page, see the provided support articles that may help you with your concern. Click See contact options if further assistance is needed.
    8. On the next page, select either Chat online or Request a call option then follow or enter the needed details.

    If still you are unable to reach our live support through those steps above, go back to this page: Contact us | Xbox Support then select the Ask a question option under Try our virtual agent section and enter this exact phrase: Talk to an agent.
