Is there any way to download backwards compatible GWG games on my Xbox One without using ...

Hey, I'm a young person and i don't have a credit card. I can't download back compat GWG games directly from my console, I heard that you have to download them through the Xbox.com website. But i can't do that because it tells me to add a payment method
(and the only payment method available is credit card). As I said, I don't have a credit card and i can't download games even though they are "free". Is there any way to download those games without adding a credit card?

And before anyone asks, YES I have Xbox Live Gold subscribtion.

Hi, why do i have to use Credit card for Backwards compatible GwG like Peggle, Grid 2, ... and i have no credit card! That makes nonsense. Is there any possiblility to get those games without an credit card?

 

I Thought ALL PREVIOUS GAMES WITH GOLD Were playable after the update?

Any GWG following the release of NXOE (from now on) will also be backwards compatible.

 

The only way to download the BC GwG without a credit card is by downloading from an Xbox 360.

 

Just to add to the above. If you still have an Xbox 360, you can get the GWG games from there, just sign in with your account and and add the games. You don't need to wait for them to download on the 360. Once you have utilised the offer, simply cancel
the download. The games will then show on your Xbox One as 'Ready to Install'.

If you don't have an Xbox 360, you can do the same thing with a friends console once you have your account downloaded. Other than that, at this stage there is no way to add even free games to your account via Xbox.com without a credit/debit card.
