Is there any way to change your gamer picture with the new Xbox app?

As of the moment, you cannot change your icon through the mobile app. Meaning the only way you can change your icon now is through a non-updated version of the app, the Xbox itself via USB, or
the PC app.

Why is that always you suggestion?

Anyway, if you notice when you go to change your gamer pic, you will get 2 options:

Gamer Picture and Personal Picture.

Your personal picture is only visable to you and your xbox live friends.

Your gamer picture is visable to everyone else and is the only picture shown externally (ie on this site).

Make sure to change your gamer picture to the one you want to see here and for everyone that isn't your friend can see.

By the way, to change your picture:

Press the guide button => Settings => Profie => Edit Profile => Gamer Picture and select the relevant option as mentioned.

Look up an appropriate picture 1080x1080. Change your gamer pic on the xbox app on PC and Xbox reviews it then youre good.

On the Dashboard, go to all the way over to Settings then Profile. From there go to Edit Profile and there should be a Gamer Picture option. Go there and it will give you the option to change your pic to any gamer pic saved on you're xbox.

hello! I have tried editing my avatar on the PC xbox app and it just comes up with choose a new gamer picture which is nothing I want to do, so it seems this way doesn't seem to work any other ways please?
