    I don't have any sort of card and I can't really use the Mobile phone option or those Prepaid card stuff something, and I can only buy Google Play Giftcards because that's the only giftcard available on my local retail stores. And no, I'm not from the
    US, but that doesn't matter. The thing is, I just need to redeem the Google Play giftcard code to purchase Minecraft Windows 10 Edition. Is that possible? And if it isn't, is there any way else? Please help, thank you.

    What's on your Xbox would not be the Windows 10 Edition as that only works on PC. Did they give you a code for the Windows 10 edition?

    I haven't heard of any promotions with Xbox giving the Windows 10 Edition for free with purchasing the Xbox One version. There was a free upgrade from Minecraft: Xbox One Edition to the current version which is just Minecraft.
