Is there any way i could transition dlcs purchased on a different account to mine?

What I’m asking about is if theres a possibility i could have some dlcs purchased on my fathers xbox accounts transitioned to mine, ever since we got a series s adding a 3rd console to our home, it has become borderline impossible for me to access some of the dlc purchased for some games, despite being purchased mostly for my own usage. I’ve also been locked out of some games but those arent a concern of mine, its just the dlc. The dlc in question is tied to Dead By Daylight, those being the first 4 licensed character dlcs, which were Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Saw

I understand that it may be impossible for this to be done as it wasnt purchased under the same email as the one tied to my current xbox account, but i hope that its something that could be done.

Hello Wvnderlvst, unfortunately it is not possible to move or transfer digital items from one account to another, whether they are DCL's the same digital games.

Not even Xbox support can help you in this case.

I guess there's no way to recover my account then. Is there any way my purchase could be recovered / moved to a different outlook account then?

Please understand, I don't want to sound like I'm being combative, but in my experience no DLC works that way. I have 2 user accounts on my console, and no DLC bought under my 'DarthLlama' account is ever accessible to my other account. Maybe we're doing
something different, but my experience has always been the same as the OP. The only way I can use DLC content is with the account that purchased it. Even if it's on the same console.

If everyone elses experience is different then mine then it's quite possible that I am doing something wrong. Certainly wouldn't be the first time that's happened. lol

If that's the case, then I apologize to the OP for giving inaccurate advice.

That's the problem, they are not appearing there. I have bought them with the same account on my Xbox 360, so they should be there, but they are not.

If I go to the store it asks me to purchase them again. The only different thing I could think of is that I bought them with Microsoft Points, back before they transitioned away from Microsoft Points. So maybe the purchase records with Microsoft Points were
lost then?

If there is anyway you could look into my account/try it for yourself so you could see the issue, I would appreciate it. I would just like an answer as to why this rare case happens.

Like you said, the DLCs should appear, but they are not.

I guess you could purchase it again with a different account, but I don't know why you would do that if the original purchasing account is still in good standing (not banned) and you are able to access the DLC via your download history as voteDC suggested.

If you do purchase it with a different account, all accounts on that console should be able to access the DLC.
