Is there any way I can use my xbox 360 controller on the xbox one? Or make the xbox one ...

when streaming xbox one to pc - the 360 gamepad connected to the pc works great (dashboard / one games / apps / 360 games / everything else).

wish the xbox one (basically a modified win10 in a console housing) could natively support "backward compatible" wired 360 gamepads when plugged in the one usb port.

sadly thats not the case in moment.

In seven of ten cases I prefer the 360 gamepad over the one game pad - but i super like the new one d-pad on the controller (personal opinion)

As what Sir Rastan said, you can buy adapters. One of them being the CronusMax, but it requires a little bit of technological know-how to get around, and you would need a functioning computer to make it work. If you just simply want your 360 controller to
work on the One with no strings attached then sadly there is no way to accomplish this. You could try to buy a third party controller for the xbox one that is more like the 360 controller, but i am not aware of anything like this.

yes you can buy a few different adapters to accomplish this. try google and youll see the options you have to use any controller on any device

The USB play and charge kit for xbox 360 does NOT make it a wired controller
- only transfers power, not data. You will see it as a device but there's no driver or any software that will make this work.

The only way to connect a wireless xbox 360 controller to a PC is with the xbox 360 USB wireless adapter for windows. You can also buy a purely wired xbox 360 controller from xbox or a 3rd party manufacturer: they all will work.

I would suggest an xbox one controller as those wireless controllers DO turn into a wired controller when a micro USB cable is used. Bluetooth is also available on newer ones.

I recently bought an Xbox One after years of playing on the Xbox 360. I currently have one Xbox One controller, but I have multiple Xbox 360 controllers. I was curious if I would be able to buy a Xbox Dongle and connect my Xbox 360 controllers to
them and use them to play straight on the Xbox One. I've seen videos to where I can connect wired controllers to a Windows 10 laptop and play that way, but just buying the dongle would be less of a hassle with the cords all around.

To have a xbox 360 controller work on the xbox one you would have to use a 3rd part dongle. There is no licensed Microsoft product that would allow a 360 controller to work on the xbox one.
