Is there any way I can get my old username back?

A couple years ago I got an Xbox and I made a cool name that was clean and didn’t have those numbers at the end. But something went wrong when I set stuff up, so I deleted the Xbox account and made a new one with the same exact name. But this one had some numbers at the end, probably because the other one was technically used. Is there any way I can free up my old account of its username, or do something so I can use the username on my current one?

I know that but could I still log back into the old one, change the name, then use it on my new one? Or would it still be taken

Hello JustJake4908, answering the first question, it is not possible to recover the old Xbox Gamertag after it has been exchanged for another one.

In the matter of your account not working, try to contact the developer of Skate 3 there may have been a problem in the link between your Xbox account and Skate.

Can you be more specific? Do you mean your Gamertag or are you referring to your whole account?

Sorry to hear, but what's done is done. There is no way to go back to the old system once changed at this point. My best suggestion is to change it to a similar name like "Snoopy Jam" if you want to at least stay within the ball park of your old name or
take advantage of this time to start new. Either way, you will probably be charged for another name change since your sibling used the free name change.
