Is there any process to report a "boot" to any authorities?

Whilst playing Siege today, a person whose name will be disclosed, was joining us for communications to play the game.

This person got irritated with me and threatened if I teamkill him, he will boot me.

I messaged him, told him to do what he has to do and lord behold, my party chat disconnects, I'm kicked offline on my Xbox.

I will contact my ISP to verify an attack was made and would like to coordinate with Xbox to report this incident to the authorities.

"Boots" are done via Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, and are illegal in basically all countries.

Therefore the process to report such an DDoS attack would be to contact your ISP, as they can check their logfiles about the attack.

Then contact your local police and have them work with the ISP to determine the source of the DDoS attack and take the necessary steps.

You could report and block the person with the tools in your xbox. By doing that the Enforcement Team could check the case. I would also report him to the authorities.
