Is there any fix for Xbox x disc read error that works

Please inspect the disc for any scratches, smudges, or dirt. Clean it gently with a soft, clean cloth, wiping from the center outwards.

And then restart your console. To do this please press and hold the Xbox button on your controller until the power menu appears, then choose to turn off the console. Unplug it for a minute, plug it back in, and power it up again.

Next is update your console. Go to Profile & system > Settings > System > Updates and check for updates.

After that is to change power modes: Go to Settings > General > Power options and select Shutdown (Energy saving). Press and hold the console's power button until it shuts down, unplug all external devices, and leave it unplugged for 5 minutes. Plug it back in, turn it on, and try the disc again.

Kindly test another disc to see if the issue is with the specific disc or the console's disc drive. If other discs work fine, the problem might be with the disc itself.

No disc read errors. Just backcompat error. Disc 1 reads and installs fine. There are not deviations on any of the discs. Just two and three won't work.

Having this issue, the disc works in 2 of my 3 series x consoles

Hard reset and all completed and no fix

OK this confirms it for me, the update is causing disc read errors. I can't play ANY of my games Online or Offline, on any account. My discs are in perfect condition and done everything to attempt to fix it, nothing has worked.

Does any other game work? If not it could be that it's a disc drive error with reading discs...
