Hi, PortalOne! It's my pleasure to assist you with this today.

Please try to reset the console this way and see if it will fix the issue.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to remember the email and password for the account before taking these steps.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.

Select "Reset and keep my games & apps

If still getting the same result, this means that this console needs to be fixed or checked. You can try submitting a repair order here.

Log in to https://account.microsoft.com/devices using your Microsoft account credentials.

    Click "Sign In."

Choose "Register Device" and then select the device you want to have repaired.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your service order request.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you need any further assistance. Thank you!

I need help with my series s

It's because the Series S/X are new gen. They require the xbox SSD. You are using an HDD. SSD's are way faster than an SSD, the series s is trying to run the 120fps and higher graphics. Thats why they are telling you to move the games. It wants you to play them on the internal SSD storage.

SSD failed issue for xbox series x

Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand your concern regarding the SSD failure on the Xbox Series X and the inability to replace it. However, please note that the SSD on the Xbox Series X is not user-replaceable, and any attempt to do so may void the warranty.

In the event of an SSD failure, we recommend that you contact Xbox Support for assistance. Our support team will be able to provide you with the necessary steps to resolve the issue.

We appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to our product team for consideration. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

It should.be noted that a software fix will.never fix hardware failure

    Everything.falls.unders.the.laws.of. physics.

You can't even replace the custom ps5 nvme as it's soldered on

The external slot.is not fully9 gbps as it's locked at 4.5gbps

Unless you are reading a lot which you shouldn't be even hdds have limited life spans

Since you are talking about 5-7 years later maybe you should. buy extra warranty to help your worries.

Any physical media including hdds and.sad.and.nvme.have a finite amount.of.read and writes

If you want user replacablr storage maybe consoles aren't for.you

Only steam.deck and ally allow self.repair with ms only doing it on accessories.

Nintendo nor sony allow self.repair on system.storage

    Xbox storage confusion

The max speed of the USB ports on the Series S and X is 500MB/s, therefore any external SSD drive would be limited to this speed.

Forza Horizon 4 doesn't have a Series X|S specific version. It was designed to run on a mechanical hard drive. It will work fine on an external SSD, with much faster loading times.

The basic rule for Xbox Series X|S development is that games for the system must be run on faster storage. Does a simple game like Among Us need faster storage? Probably not, but this is the rule that Microsoft laid down for the 'Optimised for Xbox Series X|S' feature to be added to a game.

It is, and I would assume, still would be up, up to individual developers to make their game either a 'Gen 9 aware' title or an 'Optimised for Series X'. I doubt you're going to see any more Gen 9 aware games though.
