Is there any documentation available?

So this old gamer just got an xbox one and although MS seems to envision plug and play to include my brain I would really like some detailed documentation on how to get around the thing. Does anyone know if there is any documentation available on the care,
use, and feeding of it? I can't seem to find any one the xbox site. One other thing, can the internal hard drive be backed up to an external hard drive? Thanks

Is there any documentation or other forums where Microsoft specifically states this is the only way? I think it seems a little crazy that this is the only way.

Yes you can back internal up to an external drive.

 

Best bet is to go and use it, if you have a more specific question just ask. (^^ 1 has already been answered)

 

Best way to learn is to just fiddle your way around it. You'll get the hang of it in no time friend! I will agree though, the dashboard and numerous other features are confusing at first.

 

Haha, at the release of the console I was feeling very much the same way. I think it's much easier to get a grasped now, although still would be overwhelming.

My advice is if you want to find out something, just type it into Google and there will usually be support article for it. Unfortunately there is none fort navigation other than the hand gestures, but other gaming sites have detailed tips for navigation
and console care.
