    Is there an issue with the xbox live marketplace regarding backwards compatibility


    One of the major things I was looking forward to with backwards compatibility was getting to buy a ton of games for the 360 that I never got to play now that they're a lot cheaper, but it seems that I can't do that. Every time I find one in the store, rather
    than having a price, it's marked as "bundle only", and when checking to see what the bundle is, it says verbatim "We didn't find anything".

    Microsoft, listen, I'm willing to give you my money, WHY WON'T YOU TAKE MY MONEY.

    Currently 360 games have to be purchased either from a 360 console or the store @ xbox.com. If you don't have a 360 available you'll have to use the website.

    Hello OP,

    Not all DLC is guaranteed to be released with Backward Compatibility enabled games. If it is not available on Xbox Marketplace or Backward Comparability list, then I am sorry.

    As you've probably seen from the
    Backwards Compatible list     there are very few sports orientated games available. The reason for this is licensing, and because of a legal dispute between NCAA and EA Games, the NCAA games were de-listed from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

    Microsoft and its associated partners only make games backward compatible that are available to purchase digitally via the Live Marketplace.

    Yes if you have it on disc or if you buy it through the xbox live marketplace since it is a backwards compatible title

    Another issue that can come up is licensing issues. Games can get pulled from the marketplace or kept from backwards compatibility if there's issues with licenses regarding music or other media in games. It sucks, but is unfortunately pretty common. :(
