Is There A Way To Turn Off "Clip Recorded" message [Re: GTA V Next Gen]

So when I first started playing GTA V I flipped my car and got a "Clip Recorded: Do a barrel roll" message, I was like cool. Then I sniped someone and got "Clip Recorded: Scoped". Then I hit another car and when through my windshield and got "Clip Recorded:
Buckle Up", I found this one quite funny. However these "Clips Recorded" keep repeating themselves over and over, each I start the game up again. Is there a way to turn of "Clip Recorded" but keep achievements on?

Turn off auto record.

I had to turn it off completely because every time I flipped my car in GTA V it would say "Clip Recorded - Do a Barrel Roll", or shot down a helicopter it would say "Clip Recorded - Bird Down", and flew out the windshield it would say "Clip Recorded - Buckle
Up".. it was highly annoying.

At this time I am 99% sure there is NOT a way of turning off auto-recording without turning off all recording settings.. hopefully there will be in the future, or maybe a in-game setting would be nice.

That's rather straightforwards.



If you announced that "GTA V" will be available on the next 'next gen' consoles then people might wait for them to come out before purchasing.



This way you Rockstar may sell you a "GTA V" for your existing console and then sell you it again on the next one.

I'm pretty sure that Settings >> Preferences >> Upload Broadcasts & DVR Clips will toggle those automatic game uploads on/off.

 

Although that works, Steve, it also disables being able to record anything at all. IMO, MS needs to fix this so we can still record our own clips but not have to worry about any kind of auto-recorded clips recording without our consent.

 

Auto recorded clips are soooo annoying. It's shocking that you can't turn them off and still not be able to record. Shocking!

xbox.uservoice.com/ by now, 'cos that sure is an awkward solution. Add a vote to bump its priority.

 

Look on the bright side. At least you're not playing FIFA.

That game records if your player picks up the water bottle and takes s swig.

It does suck that there is no shut off for auto-recording clips. But seeing as that I don't really record clips on my own I will just shut this feature off for now. And turn it back on if need be.

I'm a fan of it. Just turn the notifications off... and you won't be so "shocked" y. And anyone who uses the built in camera or cameras...well....not sure why recording a game clip of a game you're playing is such a big deal [if notifications off, cause
