Is there a way to share Game Pass Ultimate Cloud gaming?

I currently share my game pass ultimate subscription with my daughter. She plays on Xbox One, but when she wants to play Xbox X/S games she would need to use the cloud gaming option. But it won’t allow her to do this. Is there a way to upgrade so that she can also use the cloud gaming? Thanks

Cloud gaming can only be played with an account that PURCHASED Game Pass Ultimate. If you are sharing GPU through the Home console feature, then you will not be able to play in the cloud. That is only for the accounts that actually paid for Game Pass Ultimate.

at the moment yes, but they are testing a new system in some countries with roll out later this year hopefully, family subscription which will be a set price for up to 5 people i think to have all the benefits of ultimate with one sub.

We can share our Game Pass Ultimate on Xbox by setting our account as Home Xbox, however, as of the moment, cloud gaming feature isn't shareable. Only the account that has the Game Pass Ultimate will be able to play cloud gaming.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if there are any plans to change this in the future?

Sorry I’m quite a Microsoft newbie… so are we saying that currently the only way to use cloud gaming is to buy an ultimate subscription for each person in the house individually? 😳🫣
