    Is there a way to retrieve data?


    Hello Microsoft, or anyone who reads this. I recently got a new pc and logged in with a new microsoft account, and I lost all my game data. Is there a way to retrieve data from like Minecraft, Cuphead, and other games? Thanks.

    To my knowledge, there are no "old versions" of data. Data is overwritten as it comes in. If you deleted the data, there would be no way to retrieve it.

    Unless you had the save backed up somewhere, there is no way to retrieve that data.

    Repetitive corruption of data is usually a sign that your storage device is gunna go.

    Since the hard drive is now in an unformatted state, there won't be any way to retrieve the data. If you had some stuff backed up to the Cloud that would be retrievable. Sounds like you're SOL :(

    Sadly there is no way to retrieve lost data. I understand the shock of losing all your data because i have lost 6 years worth of data recently. Sorry for your loss hope things go better for you in the future
