Is there a way to report issues with a Minecraft resource pack?

hello, ever since the latest mincraft update i have been having weird graphics glitches when using the Odyssey sci fi resource pack on Xbox one. I have recorded clips showing the issue bur there doesnt seem to be any way to report issues to the creator
of the pack or even microsoft. The texture glitches are game breaking as they obstruct your vision while in 1st person. Has anyone else had this issue or know of a way to report the issue? I really like this pack but it is unsuable now. The photo doesnt really
do it justice of how broken it is, shame i cant post a video.

Is there a way to report issues with a Minecraft resource pack?

If you’ve run into a problem, it’s highly likely that someone else has already reported it. To see a list of bugs that have been filed and actively being investigated, type your problem into the search bar at the top of the page at bugs.mojang.com.
Try to be as detailed as you can, include error codes if applicable, and also the version of the game where you’re seeing the problem.

If your problem has already been submitted, you can see additional details about the progress of that bug, and if/when it will be resolved. If you don’t see your problem already listed, either Create
    a new account
    or Sign into your account.

For additional help before you submit a bug, there are 4 Minecraft bug submission guidelines available under the Introduction section:

    • Minecraft (PC/Java version)
    • Minecraft Pocket Edition (most mobile versions)
      • Check the help guide here before continuing
    • Minecraft Console Edition (Xbox, PlayStation & Nintendo versions)
    • Minecraft Realms

Create a new account

To submit a bug, you’ll need to create an account. If you already have an account, see the Sign into your account section
    below.

Note This is not the same as your existing Mojang or Microsoft account. If you’ve never submitted a bug before, you won’t have an existing account.

    1. Go to bugs.mojang.com and select the link to Sign up for an account.

1. On the account sign up page, enter your Email, Full name, Username and Password and complete the image verification before selecting Sign up.

1. You’ll receive an email to the address that you provided with a link for authentication. Either select that link or copy and paste it into your web browser to confirm your account.

    Sign into your account

If you’ve submitted a bug before, enter your Username and Password to sign into the bug portal.

If you’re having problems signing in, see the Problems signing into your account section below.

    Submit a bug

Once you’re signed in, select Create at the top of the screen to create a new bug.

For each section, complete as much info as you can:

    • Project: Select the version of Minecraft you’re are having a problem with.
    • Issue Type: Set this to “Bug.”
    • Summary: Provide a short description of the problem you’re having.
    • Security Level: Set this to “None.”
    • Affects Version/s: Select the version of the game you’re having a problem with. You can usually find this on the main menu of the game.
    • Environment: Enter details about the device you’re using. For example, if you’re on Windows 10 then enter the version number of the operating system you’re are using, as well as any details about your PC (make & model)
    • Description: Here is where you will enter a full description of the problem you are having, and why you think this is a bug. Include as much detailed info on how to reproduce or get to the problem as you can.
    • Attachment: If you have a screenshot or an image that will help articulate your problem, you can attach it here.
Once you’ve completed the form, select Create to submit it to the Minecraft team. You’ll be able to track the progress by selecting your profile from the top-right corner of the page. Your active bugs will be listed under Activity
    Stream
, where you can see the status of your bug submission.

    Problems signing into your account

If you’re having problems signing into your account, select “Can’t access your account?” from the login screen.

Note This is not the same as your existing Mojang or Microsoft account. If you’ve never submitted a bug before, you won’t have an existing account.

On the “Can’t access your account?” screen:

    • If you have forgotten your password then enter your username and select Send.
    • If you have forgotten your username then enter your email address and select Send.
You’ll be contacted at your registered email address with guidance on how to get back into your account.

    skin is not working

Hello Restart your Minecraft client and the issue should be fixed. If not, try another version of
    Minecraft.

    • When you join a lobby that requires a resource pack, it does not automatically download the pack and /resource does not work for you.
    • When you join a lobby that requires a resource pack and it says "Attempting to send you the resource pack", but you never end up downloading the resource pack.
    • If you know how to get to your folder already, skip to step 4. If not, start by going to "Options" in your Minecraft home screen.
    • Then go to your "Resource Packs...".
    • Then go to "Open resource pack folder".
    • Now click on the ".minecraft" in the address bar of your Folder Explorer.
    • You should now see a list of folders, find the one called "server-resource-packs" and go into it.
    • If you can't find this folder, then right click in an empty area of your Folder Explorer and click "New", then "Folder". Name your new folder "server-resource-packs". This should fix your issue, you can stop here.
    • And once in the folder, delete everything in the folder.

Texture Package for Minecraft not avaliable when logged into my account?

    Hi Doron Israel

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community

I do understand the urgency of you wanting to find other ways for this issue of yours in regards with your texture package on Minecraft. We are very glad to help you out to find some of the best possible options and troubleshooting's that we can provide for you.

Firstly, I would like to confirm if you have tried signing out of your account on the computer where the texture pack is not showing up and then signing back in again. This can sometimes help refresh the account and make the texture pack appear.

If that doesn't work, I would suggest checking if the texture pack is installed on the computer where it is not showing up. To do this, please follow these steps:

    1. Launch Minecraft on the computer where the texture pack is not showing up.

    2. Click on "Options" from the main menu.

    3. Click on "Resource Packs".

    4. Check if the texture pack is listed under "Available Resource Packs" or "Selected Resource Packs". If it is listed under "Available Resource Packs", click on it to select it and then click on the arrow button to move it to the "Selected Resource Packs" section.

If the texture pack is not listed under "Available Resource Packs", it may not have been installed properly. In this case, I would suggest trying to reinstall the texture pack. To do this, please follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your account on the computer where the texture pack is not showing up.

    2. Launch Minecraft and click on "Options" from the main menu.

    3. Click on "Resource Packs".

    4. Click on "Open Resource Pack Folder". This will open the folder where Minecraft stores its resource packs.

    5. Delete the folder for the texture pack that is not showing up.

    6. Log out of your account and then log back in again.

    7. Launch Minecraft and go to "Options" > "Resource Packs" again.

    8. Click on "Open Resource Pack Folder" again.

    9. Drag and drop the texture pack file into the resource pack folder.

    10. Go back to Minecraft and check if the texture pack is now showing up.

If none of the above steps work, it is possible that there may be an issue with your account or with the Minecraft client itself. In this case, I would suggest contacting Minecraft support for further assistance, click here: Minecraft Help Center

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your issue. I hope all of this information's are helpful. We look forward on your response.

When I try to open an Minecraft texture pack it opens Microsoft edge and downloads it again

Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    Good evening

The reason for this is that Minecraft texture packs are usually downloaded as .zip or .rar files, not .jar files. It's possible that the file you downloaded is not actually a texture pack, or that it was downloaded incorrectly.

To open a Minecraft texture pack in the Java edition, you should follow these steps:

Download the texture pack from a trusted website, such as the official Minecraft website or a reputable modding website.

Once the file has downloaded, open the Minecraft launcher and click on "Options" and then "Resource Packs".

Click on "Open Resource Pack Folder". This will open the folder where your Minecraft resource packs are stored.

Move the downloaded texture pack file into the folder.

In the Minecraft launcher, click on "Done" and then go back to the "Resource Packs" section.

You should now see the new texture pack in the list of available resource packs. Click on it to select it, and then click "Done".

The texture pack should now be applied to your game.

OUR RESOURCE PACKS NOT WORKING WHEN WE ENTER THE REALMS

    Hi John,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues with your Minecraft resource packs.

Do you have other resource packs or mods installed? If yes, I would recommend that you try to remove some of them first and try again.

The reason behind this is because there are instances where some mods or resource packs does not work together.

I want to make sure that you will get all the assistance that you need. If you are still experiencing issues even after using the recommended settings, I recommend that you submit a ticket directly to Minecraft support so you can be guided by Minecraft specialists.

In this way, we can be assured that your case will be logged, attended and monitored in a timely manner. Please use this link:
