    Is there a way to remove the new gamertag that includes numbers from my account?


    I’m talking about the extra gamertag that appears only on my profile such as, tt#2457.

    sorry for the confusion, I understand that I can’t only have the gamertag tt because other people have it. I was asking if i could completely remove that gamertag from account and only have my original gamertag which doesn’t have numbers and appears in game.
    For example, when i’m looking at my profile i see “tt#2166”but my other gamertag that people see ingame is “ezbj” i was asking if there’s anyway to remove my social gamertag and show only ezbj

    You can't remove the numbers in your gamertag they help identify the account and it's a new way to help them so they changed the gamertag system to a new one but if you want you can change your gamertag but I don't think it will be much help

    Hello! The only way to remove the discriminator (The #2457) is to change your gametag to something that is not currently being used. Your gamertag was given the discriminator since tt is already in use (It will do this with any gamertags that are already
    being used).

    The number after this is how many people have the name "TT". If you come up with a different name that no one else has, you can have no numbers.
