Is there a way to recommend games to microsoft to put on the xbox store?

Well do note that if someone wants to purchase a game with their Microsoft account and put it on another user or child account they need to add their Microsoft account to the store on the other user. (Recommend putting password protection for buying stuff)

This could be the problem, because even if you reinstall Windows, when you put the games to download on another drive, it can't, because the WindowsApps folder (Microsoft Store and Xbox application download folder) from the previous installation already exists.

Have you tried formatting the drive and putting the games on it to download again? Before doing this, I recommend that you make a backup, but recover the WindowsApps folder, it cannot be present.

you would need to start the game on the xbox console and then login to your account via console to sync it over, the pc version is in no way connected with the microsoft store, you have to purchase via epic store or in game.

It's about time Microsoft put this in big red bold writing on the purchase page. same goes for COD related items too as that has to be purchased via battlenet or the game on pc.

The hard part of your question is that you'll never know if it's a 3rd party knock-off or an official drive until you try to use it when you purchase it online.

I would recommend getting one from your local gaming store, The Microsoft Store (online) or a store like Walmart, etc. That is the only way you'll be sure that you're getting an official Xbox Hard drive.
