    Is there a way to prevent Xbox controller from being used?


    I run my headset through the Turtle Breach Xbox controller as

    1.) The Aux cable is too short to reach the back

    2.) Front Aux on the front of the PC slot doesn't work

    This is becoming annoying as games keep trying to use the controller despite using a mouse and keyboard without touching the controller.

    Is there a way to prevent this?

    Unfortunately, I don't have any further troubleshooting to offer. There are many knowledgeable users active on the forum and I hope that someone else can offer further insight on your issue.

    As a workaround to prevent the controller going to sleep mode, you might try and use a rubber band to tie one of the analogue sticks into any direction, or put a book or something similar on the controller so the analogue stick is pushed into a direction,
    so the controller "thinks" it's being actively used and doesn't go to sleep.

    Unfortunately, I don't know of any other way or setting in windows, to prevent the game from "losing" the sleeping controller.
