    Is there a way to play bluray without wifi on the Xbox one?


    My internet has been out for 3 days now and the Xbox won't let me play DVDs. Says I must be online. Is there an application on the Xbox I can download that does not require the internet to work? The
    one provided by the Xbox is Broken. Keeps asking for an internet connection to play a DVD. Let me know if there's an application I can download off the Xbox store that doesn't require internet to work. I'll hotspot to the Xbox to download it

    Hi Juda,

    You can set your console offline. However, you need to be online for this to work correctly. It lets Microsoft know this console will be offline. Personally had this same issue when the cable company was doing repairs. They shut off my internet unexpectedly
    so I could launch any game. I connected to my hotspot on my phone, went into network settings and went offline. Disconnected hotspot and all was well.

    you can turn on your hotspot then play the disc then go offline again. as for an app alternative, I am not sure myself.

    If your xbox is looking for a connection it will not. You should set your console into offline mode.

    How do you have no internet for 3 days but you can post to an internet forum?

    If the above doesnt work

    Depends on the bluray disk itself

    If its bluray live disk then yes you must be connected to use certain features of the disk this should.not affect the playback of the movie just live features like extras

    If my internet was offline for 3 days id be calling my internet company not my gaming company

    1-2 days is a refundable credit they should be on it like yesterday
