Is there a way to lock the Restricted Mode on the YouTube app on the X-box One console?

I don't want my child to be able to turn off the Restricted mode on the YouTube app. Is there a way to prevent children from turning it off, it is very easy for them just to go into the settings and turn it off without any pass code required.

Thank you, but this restricts the YouTube app entirely if I lower the age limit. I just wanted to be able to set it so the restricted mode can't be turned off so it will block inappropriate content.

you just have to download the app and put your account so the retrisgidos modes will do your job, but go through more security and parental control of youtube than proper xbox

They will have to have their own account on your console, that way you as a parent can set the age limit to restrict content that includes apps.

Are you currently signed in with your account in YouTube?

Try on check this setting:

At the top right, click your profile photo.
At the bottom, click Restricted Mode.
In the top-right box that opens, to turn Restricted Mode on or off.

Not really. The primary reason why I have X-box is to play the games I love and socialize and watch Youtube. I think they're trying to hard to turn X-box into a PC. I can already watch TV on my PC. X-box One just doesnt have the games yet that I love and
it has recieved so much negative reception about it the way it has no backwards capability, looks bulkier, and has more restrictions like online connection checks required, what games can be played on the console, it has only DDR3 speed RAM, the HDD is only
500GB and is not removable unlike with Xbox 360's.
