Thank you for your reply and the hint about waiting a bit, but it is already an older story.

TL&DR:

• I got banned -> I appealed + asked why -> no answer, but ban removed
  
• 2 weeks later I got banned again (probably the same problem) -> appealed again, asked again why -> rejected, reason unknown, no warning, zero communication
  
• a few months have passed
  
• redeemed a key while logged in with my main (banned) account -> MS added the game to the banned account -> immediately lost the freshly bought game -> fraud
  

This "take the money and run" strategy is disgusting and maybe even illegal (or maybe there is hidden paragraph somewhere deep in the terms and conditions where they state, that this is a know risk of using the platform).

The non-existent customer support is unprofessional.

Months later I still have no idea, why I was banned. I asked on every possible channel:

chatted with support -> they have no access

called support -> they have no access

multiple e-mails to enforcement team -> they didn't even answer

Lesson learned: I will avoid using such a fraudulent platform as much as I can.

I read that part but you also mentioned that you are permanently banned so taking into consideration that you are an Xbox ambassador I guessed that you knew that permanently banned and device banned are considered different bans, and that you should also know that a device ban it's not issue lightly as there's no way to revert one of those so that's why I focused on the permanently banned, but if you're just talking about a device ban there's no way to unban a device, and like I mentioned before customer support can't help you with this as they don't have access to information about enforcement actions or the reasons for them

That glitch you mention, the one that happened in October of 2009, was in fact a legitimate stance taken by MS to show its community that they will not allow modifications on their console or service.



Console bans are not handed out lightly. No one gets permanently banned from XBL for 'no reason'. And there are other ways of being console banned other than the most common tampering/modification.
