Is there a way to game stream without using an internet connection?

I really like the game streaming, it makes it easier to use my console at my pc while using the pc's speakers so i don't have to connect headphones into my controller, but I have to deal with either lag or bad quality. Is there any alternative or am I stuck
using the game stream method?

Streaming Xbox One games to Windows 10 - Need help

Is there anyway to stream games from Xbox One to PC without using the internet? I just checked my data usage on my pc and according to that, the Xbox app has used 74GB of data in the last 6 days just from streaming, which is not good seeing as we have a 200GB monthly cap. So I am trying to find an alternative way to play through my PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

you will always need internet to stream any kind of media. if you want to game offline then youll need a disk or a download to your hd.

 

i don't think you understand what im asking. essentially im asking for a direct connection to my pc, like how you connect your pc to your monitor but in this case your xbox to your pc. that way i don't have to deal with unplugging my speakers every time
i want to play and i don't have to deal with changing the feed on the monitor.

 

Currently the only way to stream from your console to the PC is via a home network (internet connection).

 

Sounds like you just need a graphics card with a hdmi input port.
