    Is there a way to force cloud saving if not actually quitting game?


    When I play a game on my Series X and shut down the console rather than quit the game first, if later I go to play on Game Streaming the saves are nearly always out of date - and vice versa. I just lost two weeks of The Ascent playing over the top of a previous save because of this (well partly because of this). Is there any way to force saves to upload when I close the console rather than only when I quit the game?

    Need to be able to use more iCloud storage to download game data...

    Cloud storage on the 360 is only meant for save data, not actual game data. There's no way to increase the amount of cloud storage.

    This moderator is clearly copying and pasting old data from the Xbox One days. This troubleshoot doesn’t work on Xbox Series X or S consoles.

    “Cloud saved games” isn’t an option anymore.

    I can’t find how to force a cloud sync. I can’t play Starfield on my other console in another room because the data won’t sync.

    What’s the point of cloud saving if it doesn’t actually save???

    I think I understand. Xbox has moved actual remote play which worked quite well 3 weeks ago to the cloud gaming, so they can force users to purchase Xbox Ultimate. That’s very disappointing.

    If you quit the game improperly (ex. turning off the console or force quitting the game before saving), it will not save. You might've quit before saving, and the point you're at now is auto-saved.
