    Is there a way to find old friends you removed?


    My old friend changed his gamertag after I accidentally removed him, (he didn't know I removed him) and I can't find him anymore. I don't know what happened to him and I've been searching for years. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I never removed
    him. At first I was a little younger, like 10, and he was a great friend. I cried after like a week of removal, and I miss him so much. We had so many memories, and I'm sure he tried to find me too, as I changed my gamertag twice, not thinking it would affect
    anything. I had a similar situation happen with two other old friends, and miss them too. I just wonder what happened to them and keep searching in hope I will find them, I search for gamertags related to what they had or would do, and what I remember of friends
    I have removed. I hope someday I will find them. Aahhh, nostalgia.....

    If you had mutual friends on your lists, its possible that one of those people could know the new Gamertag also.. may be worth checking down your friends lists, if the are viewable to you. That is dependant on their privacy settings however.

    It's possible you removed them but they didn't remove you. In this case they would be in your followers list. If you used to message each other your messages should still be there as well.

    So sorry to hear this. I wish there was a way to search for people who changed their gamertags but you can't. I hope one day you and this friend reconnect somehow and I going keep my fingers cross for you.

    It doesnt look like you can search a old gamertag via google in hopes of finding their new one. https://www.xboxgamertag.com/. You can search for a person's via their gamertag
    the same way you do on your Xbox. I know you been searching for him for years and if it been that long>>>you may not see any messages from him either. I still hope you cross paths with this person again.
