Is there a way to factory reset my xbox 360 when a update error code pops up ?

Black screen of death

Turned my xbox on after a week of not playing the dashboard loaded up but whenever i tried to connect to xbox live it gave me an error saying it took to long to start so i hard reset it and when it turned back on it gave me the green startup screen it loaded
for a few seconds then went to black and it stays there if you push the xbox button on the controller a error message pops up and when i searched up the error code it didnt show up ive tried almost everything switching HDMI unplugging my xbox starting the
xbox up in a different display i tried to get to the screen where u can choose to factory reset but i couldnt do that either this is very irritating because i had this problem 2 months ago my xbox turned off and then when i turned it back on i was only given
an error code and the factory reset screen and the offine update option i ended up just resetting my xbox which solved the problem for the time being but now it doesnt seem like i can just factory reset my way out of this one

 

Xbox won't startup.

My xbox one (original xbox one) will not start up correctly. It seems to be in the middle of a factory reset, but brings me to a troubleshoot screen. Error code E102 00000C12 8007045D pops up. Giving me the options to reset my xbox, turn xbox off, factory
reset my xbox (says I will erase all accts, games, apps, ect), or offline update with usb device. I've already tried turning it off and resetting it, but those don't seem to work. I'm afraid to factory reset because I have a lot of games saved on my xbox
and I would waste a lot of money if the games cannot be retrieved. Can anyone help?
