Is there a way to deny/erase access to a license transfer?

Hello. I have a question. About a year ago I sold my Xbox 360 and forgot to reformat the hard drive. (Due to money problems, I needed to sell it) I just recently purchased an Xbox 360 the other week and I'm worried that someone else is going to have access
to my content that I paid for and end up getting me banned. Is there any way to deny or erase access to licenses on another console? Thanks.

There is no way to transfer anything from one account to another. It's simply not possible.

Isn't there a way to put separate passwords on accounts so people can't sign into them on a shared console? I thought there was before but I can't remember where the settings are at on the console.

To clear things up some if there is some confusion with my question, I am not asking for a way to change the password on my XBL account. I am asking if there was like a short 4-letter/number password you can put individually on each account to prevent them
from being signed into.

 

Glad you're back and sorry you forgot to delete the content. But no worries. Once you do a License Transfer to the new console all licenses from the old one will be removed in favor of your new console. This means that whoever has the old console will
no longer be able to use it.

Also, if you left your gamertag on the old console I would recommend remotely removing the password for it.

Thanks for your quick answer, Onyx. However, I thought if the person was signed into Live while having this content, they would still have access to it. They just can't play it offline. This is what I've heard anyway.

Your account could still access the content on any console as long as you're signed into Live because you own the content. The other person would not be able to since he doesn't own the content.

 

Thanks for your reply Smwutches. However this content was purchased on that XBOX, and I believe it has a license for both the account and console, which puts me in a bad position. As I said before, I don't want someone else playing content that I paid for.

Also I did put security and change the password on my account as well. I'm thankful that there wasn't a credit card on my account.

 

Once you do a license transfer, as onyx suggested, it will remove the content license from the old Xbox and put it on your current console. The person playing the other Xbox won't have access to any licenses.
