Is there a way to create a Media Server/Game Storage Device?

    Is there a way to create a Media Server/Game Storage Device?


    I work with a lot of audio and video editing and like show my friends what I'm working on.

    I am also constantly uninstalling stuff off my XBOX ONE.

    Is there a device that would be ideal to do this?

    I was thinking maybe the WD My Cloud (Whatever size) because it has both USB 3.0 and a network port.

    There is no way to transfer anything from one account to another. It's simply not possible.

    Isn't there a way to put separate passwords on accounts so people can't sign into them on a shared console? I thought there was before but I can't remember where the settings are at on the console.

    To clear things up some if there is some confusion with my question, I am not asking for a way to change the password on my XBL account. I am asking if there was like a short 4-letter/number password you can put individually on each account to prevent them
    from being signed into.

    Seagate Game Drive 4 tb only recognized as media device, no option to format it for games

    If it only recognizes it as media storage then its does not see the device as a USB 3 device, which is needed for game storage.

    You can delete it from your storage device, but there is no way to delete it from the servers.

    Currently there is no way to change your account region to the US. You would have to create a new account with the correct information.

    You can't really completely cancel an account. You can delete it from your storage device, but it will remain on Micrososft's servers.

    brand names shouldn't make a difference but make sure it meets all requirements to be compatible with your xbox one device.

    The basic requirements for storing games and apps on an external drive are:

    Has capacity of 256 GB or more

    Uses USB 3.0.

    Devices that don’t meet the above requirements will be treated as media storage, such as for music or video. If you have a storage device that does meet the above requirements for game and app storage, you can cancel the format to use it as a media device.
