    Is there a way to connect Xbox controller wired to Android phone ?


    I have the old Xbox one controller (Model number 1537 Image it's a windows version "Microsoft xbox one pad" what it is called, but not sure), is there a way to connect it wired to my Android phone, I have Samsung S8. Is there an app that I can install to make it work, because just plugin it does nothing (using a OTG), thanks.

    Hello Braden S! I'm Kris and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

    You are unable to pair a Xbox 360 controller to an Android phone as the 360 does not use bluetooth but their own wireless protocol. You would need a wired Xbox 360 controller to connect to phone.

    Xbox 360 controllers don't use Bluetooth, they have their own wireless protocol that Android phones can not use. The only way to use a 360 controller on an Android phone would be via a USB cable.

    It does not, but the Xbox One x controller does and can be used to connect with an Android phone for use with mobile gaming you just use the sync button on the controller to connect with your phone.

    What do you mean too many devices to switch

    You just turn on your bluetooth

    It's one deviceit has no bearing on your earbuds etc

    No android would need an otg adapter not a USBa to usb type c

    Which isn't really recommended since you have bluetooth

    They are expensive
