Is there a way to check download/update progress if i am not near my tv or console?

Ok, so I am still on the console reset and the update isn't proceeding. I am on "Time to update" and no progress has been made is their a way to make this go faster?

Dear Xbox One, your software "update" really *** things up. I didn't have any problems with tv viewing until downloading the "update", but now I am experiencing the exact same troubles as everyone in this post. Way to destroy the user experience by not testing
out your "update" thoroughly enough.

Thanks to your update the Xbox On feature will NO LONGER turn on my TV and after I turn on my TV I am usually met with a black screen that requires me to reboot my xbox or turn-off the instant on feature.

Regarding Movies & TV app, will not start states "update in progress" on my Xbox One but there aren't any updates as I checked. Yet this app works on pc. Any help would be appreciated - thanks

So those didn't work, and I am downloading things to the internal storage as well as I am using the most recent updated xbox OS on my console (I cross-checked with the xbox updates site)

Thanks for the updates in your issue. Can you try a different TV, and see if they show on the other TV. Have you tried all suggestions on the

Black screen troubleshooter to try and get connected to TV again? It is possible that the power outage damaged the console and/or TV. If there is a Microsoft store near you, they could check it out for you.
