    Is there a way to change your e-mail account on xbox without signing in?


    I just want to know if there is a way I can change the e-mail associated with that gamer tag without the need of signing in to the account?

    Recently my e-mail account was hacked, and the recovery process is taking longer than expected. I want to play with my friends, but can't sign in online, because I need to sign in to the e-mail account that has locked me out.

    Can you sign in Xbox live with a different E-mail account?

    So, I have already an Xbox Live user and my E-mail account I used to sign in Xbox Live is about to close. Can I use a different E-mail account to sign in Live with the same user?

    It's important, because I have all my achievements/ plus friends in this user and I cannot try it out, because I have not created another E-mail account, yet.

    Sorry but if you contacted phone support to open an Unauthorized Access Ticket then you will need to wait as they will have locked out the gamertag for use by anyone during the investigation process.

    If you want to know how it's going give them a call back to find out.

    2 Gamertags 1 Email problem.

    I'm not sure if xbox live will e-mail your password to you, but you need to be able to sign in to the account to change it's e-mail. I'd try asking your friend to recover his tag to your xbox, or sign on here on xbox.com to change it.

    Create another e-mail, and change this account's e-mail to this new e-mail. This will "free" your windows live e-mail for the account you really want.

    There is no way to delete an account. Even permanently suspended accounts are stuck on the system forever.
