    Is there a way to?

There is no way to transfer anything from one account to another. It's simply not possible.

  3. Is there a way to...

Isn't there a way to put separate passwords on accounts so people can't sign into them on a shared console? I thought there was before but I can't remember where the settings are at on the console.

To clear things up some if there is some confusion with my question, I am not asking for a way to change the password on my XBL account. I am asking if there was like a short 4-letter/number password you can put individually on each account to prevent them
    from being signed into.

Are you talking about on your Xbox One? You should only have to press A one time for the item to open (there is a small delay between pressing A and the App/Game actually loading to full screen.) Apologies if I'm not clear on the location to which you are
referring! Is there a way to change to a single click? :)

    Yes the xbox one.

I press A and it does nothing.

If I double click or sometimes rapid click, it will open.

Otherwise it just sits there, not loading.

This is my first day with it.

Lots of changes to get used to.

This is just driving me crazy a little bit.

Okay, I see. My first suggestion to you is to go ahead and power your Xbox down by holding the white power sensor on the front of the console for 8-10 seconds. After you release it, watch the light on the power brick, and when it turns orange, you can go
ahead and start the system back up. This is called a Hard Reset or Power Cycle, and it fixes a LARGE number of issues that come up, one of them being that the memory needs to be cleared - the fact that pressing A does nothing or lags sounds like a memory clog
    to me.

Most of the time you won't encounter this, but with the large system update that downloads during initial setup, I wouldn't be surprised if that caused it. Occasionally you will run into odd issues (things not starting, black screen, etc.) which are usually
    fixed by a hard reboot.

Once it starts back up, highlight something and press A and wait a moment to see if it starts up. Let me know!

Is there a way to change to a single click?

Ok, I'll be able to try that in a few min.

I don't have internet access, so it's at my dads house.

I had to run home with my wife.

Could this also be what's causing my install of games to stagnate?

It does seem very likely, yes - now, that isn't the ONLY possible cause, as sometimes a hard drive is just bad, but it's definitely the first and most likely solution! Fingers crossed that it works for you!

    I've tried what you suggested.

It only occasionally takes one click.

Any other time it takes multiple clicks.

If I press A once, it just makes what ever I have selected flash..

It doesn't look like it fully depresses the option, if that make sense.

Also I installedDragon Age Inquisition from the disc and it maybe took 20 min.

I'm at almost an hour now on Middle earth shadow of Mordor, and I just now reached 2%.

    Very frustrated right now.

Hmmmm.... This control issue is VERY odd. I don't suppose you have a friend whose controller you could borrow (or a spare of your own)? I'm beginning to wonder if it's a problem with the controller, because when you said the item doesn't seem to be fully-clicked,
that almost sounds like the A button isn't always making a good connection.... I'd be curious to see if a different controller gave the same result.
