Is there a way to change the email used to sign in on the xbox one?

I want to change the email used to sign in to xbox live and there is no option to change it on the xbox one is there any way to change the email used. I have tried using the xbox 360 to change it and kept getting a message that it can't be changed at the
moment.

I am wondering if there is a way for me to change the email from the one currently used without going on xbox (because my xbox won't get liveuntil it has an email to run by) but I can't change my account information on the xbox is there another way to fix
it and the account that needs the email change is the one currently being used

to Change your microsoft account (email used for sign) in the most easy way is via
https://account.live.com

- sign in there

- select "alias" and if requested enter verification

- add new email and set as Primary

- if you like you can remove the other email

If you try to change the email address (Microsoft Account) that is tied to your gamertag, and you come across this error message
"Sorry, we can't change your Microsoft account right now." then that can be down to one of three reasons.



1: Your gamertag is less than 30 days old.

2: You have already changed the email address tied to the account within the past 30 days.

3: You have downloaded your gamertag from Xbox LIVE to an Xbox / device in the past 30 days.



In each instance, you would simply have to wait for the 30 days to pass. Please note that if you download your profile to an Xbox or device before the 30 days are up, it will reset the timer and you would have to wait a full 30 days again. Once this time
has passed, you should be able to change the email address without any issue.

Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't it possible to change it
here.

I believe you have to:

1. Log in.
2. Add a new alias (email).
3. Delete the old email alias or change the new alias to the primary one.
   

I have been told this works but have never tried it myself as I have never needed to.

 

I am just going to continue to use my current email. I still don't know why I can't change it using my xbox 360 and the only time I had to download my account was to put it on the xbox one and I have used the same email since I created my xbox live account.
