    Is there a way to change the email associated with my Xbox?


    I first got an Xbox when I was 9, so naturally all the credentials I used were my mom's, including the email. I'm 18 now and I've been wanting to change the email on my xbox for the longest time but never knew how to. So is there a way to change the email associated with my Xbox without resetting or messing anything up? My mom is a teacher and a doctor so I rather avoid anything that changes anything on her profile. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You just promote your account on your console

    Should be noted you can't change your email if it's a outlook or hotmail account

    Only external emails aliases can be changed

    You can add a different email address to the account, but to completely unlink your mom's email from it, the email will need to be deleted from Microsoft, if the email it's not from Microsoft there would be no problem, but if it is, you will lose access to it

    as far as I know you are only able to change the associated Microsoft Account connected to an Xbox Live account via the xbox 360 console.

    Currently there aren't any other ways to change the associated Microsoft Account (email address) sorry
