Xbox 360 controller to windows store games Wont work

    Hey there!

Are you trying to connect a wireless Xbox 360 controller to your Windows 10 PC or is it a wired controller? If it's a wired one, here are the steps to

calibrate your controller with your Windows PC.
You'll want to follow those steps and be sure that everything is set up correctly and try again.

Keep us posted! Is there a way like on a pc you can calibrate the 360 wireless controller? :)

    Hello there.

Xbox 360 wireless controllers only work on PC with the Xbox 360 Wireless PC adapter, they don't work via they Play & Charge cable. Even when you use the cable with an Xbox 360, the controller still uses the Wireless to function and the cable simply provides
    power.

If you'd like to use a 360 pad with a PC, you either need a wired one, or you'll need one of these:

    Xbox 360 Wireless PC adapter.

Alternatively, you can use an Xbox One controller. With those, you can connect as you are with a USB cable, or you can connect via Bluetooth (If you have one of the newer controllers which have a rough texture on the back of the hand grips) or with an Xbox
    One Wireless PC adapter.

    Hey there triggs1957.

The controller should already be calibrated on your Xbox 360. Unfortunately if you're having turning and off center issues with the stick it sounds like the controller would need to be replaced. If you haven't tried already, please try a new set of batteries
to see if there's any change with the controller's performance. Let us know how it goes.

If I connect my Xbox slim to my computer would I be able to use my controller with my PC

no you need the receiver that has a USB cable on the end that plugs into the PC's usb port that has a sync button like on the 360 console and on the wireless controller. no other way works as far as making a wireless controller work on a PC sorry.

    Hey UrsineBoat

Thank you for taking the time to reply to this thread.

On the Xbox 360, there is no way to calibrate your controller. Using certain third-party software, it is possible to calibrate your controller on a PC, however, this calibration will only work on the PC.

If the controller sticks are drifting on a certain direction, there is no other option but to replace or service the device itself. However, Microsoft no longer creates or services Xbox 360 consoles or its associated accessories.

That being said, the only other option, indeed, would be to replace the device. I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.
