Is there a way I can play my already installed Xbox games on my pc with a keyboard and mouse

You're saying you have PC games that are Xbox Live enabled, and would like to know if they support Keyboard & Mouse, correct? If so, it all depends on the game, some games support keyboard and Mouse, others don't. If the games do, then they should give
you the option to use the keyboard and mouse.

The streaming games from an xbox one to windows 10 has me intrigued. First Person shooter mouse/keyboard advocates would be really excited if this opened up the keyboard and mouse for them to use with their console buddies, but I'm actually more excited
about the possibility of Real-time-strategy games making their way over to consoles. I love starcraft 2, but all of my gaming buddies only have an xbox one and a few very under-powered PCs. If they could use the power of the xbox one to play mouse/keyboard
RTS games on their Windows 10 PCs, that would be AMAZING! I know none of this was mentioned, but it seems that if you are already playing the game through a PC this should be more than possible, and I'm hoping someone from Microsoft sees this.

In order to keep an equal and fair multiplayer experience, you can only play with controllers on the Xbox One.

Games that work on the PC as well (like for example Gears of War 4) can be played with keyboard and mouse, but you can only play cooperative multiplayer with console owners that have to use controllers, so mouse and keyboard users don't have an advantage.

These XIM4 or Mayflash devices aren't real mouse and keyboard devices. These devices show themselves as a standard controller to the console, and when you move the mouse, the adaptor "guesses" from the speed you move the mouse, how hard it should push a
simulated controller stick in a certain direction.

These adaptors won't give you the same control as the mouse on a real PC.

When you stream the Xbox game screen to your PC, you can also only use a Xbox controller. Mouse and Keyboard won't work as a game input (you can only use the keyboard to enter text when the virtual keyboard is shown).

There are plans to get Keyboard and mouse working, if there ever is a way to stream the PC screen to the Xbox console.

But currently, if you're playing on the Xbox console, it's controller only (even if the controller is "guesstimated" with mouse and keyboard inputs).

Unfortunately that doesn't answer my question. When buying a console version of a game does that mean that you have to use a controller to play it or can you use a mouse and keyboard instead? I don't think of console games as being designed to use a mouse and keyboard.

When you buy a Play Anywhere title on console, if you then play it on PC, it will install the PC version of said game, not the console version...as long as the PC version allows use of mouse and keyboard, then you can use them, yes. It is like the Smart Delivery on Xbox consoles....with games that are available for both consoles, the system sees, for example, you are using a Series X and installs the Series X version rather than the XB1 version. In this case, it would recognise you are on PC and install the PC version.

Of course, that is all moot with Surviving Mars as it isn't a Play Anywhere title so, if you bought it, you'd be buying the PC version as the console version simply wouldn't be available for install on PC

In the case of Surviving Mars, The PC version should have full K+M support (the Steam version does)..that is generally the case with most Strategy games. With this game, you can even use K+M with the Xbox apparently, though Paradox officially say you can't

You need to have Keyboard and mouse connected directly to the xbox for this. Currently there is no way to play through the xbox one app on windows using Keyboard and mouse connected to the PC.
