Is there a way I can attach a gif to my Xbox profile. If so, that would be very helpful...

Currently, it's not possible to use GIFs in Xbox profiles, only images can be used. While it's a great idea and it would be nice if it were possible, the current functionality is limited to static images.

Ok i managed to download my profile to my other xbox fine, no problems! Finding this all very bizarre, would it be worth changing the microsoft account that my profile is attached to?

Well you can only take screenshots in game. So I took pics with my phone. But there is no way to attach picture files with this PM system (not that I can locate). Only URL links... Which is not very helpful.

Thank you for posting here on the forums. Unfortunately, there is no way to disassociate an Xbox profile from a Microsoft account. Once an Xbox profile is created and attached to a Microsoft account, it will remain attached. No way around this.

If removing your profile from the Microsoft account is mandatory then the most you can do is

close your account to start new, or create a new Microsoft account.

Signed into your offline profile, if you choose the option to Join Xbox LIVE, you can attach an unused email to your profile, and upgrade it to a LIVE account. This would be the only way to use your offline profile's progress on a LIVE account, as there
is no way to move the save progress to another profile.
