    Is there a patch Microsoft Double Dragon IV for the PC and Xbox One to fix PAD 2P config?


    Wednesday January 18 2023 at 5PM - 5:04PM Double Dragon IV default controls leaves out certain character actions like jump action would be left out. Controls should be redefined before playing for a easier gameplay. There are problems with redefining the controls for the second player. I load the game up. I press A on both controllers. I select config with the 1st controller by pressing B. I move the cursor from Default to Pad 1P and then I press B. A menu pops up with the cursor on Ok and underneath Ok is Config. I move the cursor from Ok to Config and I select Config by pressing the B button. The cursor moves to the top action. Then it says "press a button for action" beside an action I press a button the action, I repeat the process as the message declines "press a button for action" down. After defining the buttons the menu closes. I select config with the 1st controller by pressing B. I move the cursor from Default to Pad 1P to Pad 2P and then I press B. A menu pops up with the cursor on Ok and underneath Ok is Config. I use the 2nd controller to move the cursor from Ok to Config and then I press every single button except for B on the 2nd controller with nothing happening. Then I press B button on the 2nd controller and the menu closes.

    Xbox One controller broken by Windows Anniversary Update

    Same issues here. Bought a new Xbox one s bluetooth controller to replace my 360 pad, and it either works briefly then stops, the button presses are incorrect or doubled. Some games and steam see it as two controllers. The whole reason I bought an xbox pad
    for the pc is for the ease of plug and play and compatibility and no fussing around. Yet, Microsoft seems to have messed it properly with xbox one controller support on windows. Back to my wired 360 pad I go.

    In the meantime, double check your NAT type for both PC and Xbox

    PC: Download the Xbox console companion app from the store > once downloaded go to settings > network

    Xbox: Go to settings > general > network config
